To honor Dante Alighieri on the seven hundredth anniversary of the poet's death, the Municipality of Levanto has placed a commemorative bench in the shape of a book on the Pietra promenade.
The seat features a classic profile of Alighieri and the part of Canto XXVI of the Inferno dedicated to Ulysses.
