Hiking
The White Temple is an insider tip among the best sights in Chiang Mai, and a visit is highly recommended. Not to be confused with the famous White Temple in Chiang Rai, which is 200 kilometers away. The so-called Wat Suan Dok impresses with its completely white cemetery, where countless small towers are lined up next to each other. Also worth seeing is the 48-meter-high golden chedi right behind it and the large, spectacular Buddha statue that is located in the huge temple hall.

1. **Location**:
- The temple is located on **Thanon Suthep**, about one kilometer west of **Pratu Suan Dok**. The address is **139 Suthep Rd, Tambon Su Thep, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai 50200, Thailand**.
2. **Architecture**:
- Particularly striking is the almost **50 meter high chedi** that crowns the face of the temple. This golden, bell-shaped stupa is said to house a special Buddha relic.
