Spitzmeilen Hut SAC

From Flumserberg a relatively easy destination for mountain bikers.

Very friendly managed hut (also in winter!) With good food.
The cottage in Bauhaus style is newly built. I like it a lot.For technically not sooo well-versed drivers like me: S1 one should be confident, and in some places just push for a short time. Even S0 drivers come there, but push a few more places a little longer. But it is nowhere difficult to push, no carrying needed. and the more difficult passages are short. So do not worry, it takes just 5 minutes to get there, but you do not have to push most of the way. The last 200 meters around the hut, there are many flat slabs of rock, which could be dangerous in wet conditions.

In winter, there is occasional skiing to the hut

After about 10 km S1, the cold beer tastes so good again. Great modern hut design. DAV and its landlords could cut off a huge slice of it.
