    Built in 1869 by the municipal architect Charles Burguet (1821-1879), designer of the Bordeaux markets of Lerme and Grands-Hommes, the Halle des Chartrons is a precious witness of the metal architecture of the late 19th century. Built in place of a first market dating from the Revolution, this small octagonal building with eighteen bays and a metal frame has a luminosity and an opening on the outside all to exceptional. The hall was restored in 1998 to become a cultural space.
