Große Bamicke

The Große Bamicke near Latrop in the Hochsauerland district is a 614.6 m high, barely noticeable peak on a Riedel and offshoot of the Grosser Kopf massif (740.8 m) in the Rothaar Mountains. It lies on a north-facing Riedel in the west of the Kühhuder Rothaar in the immediate vicinity of the Latrop Gorge of the Latrop between its tributaries Kleine Bamicke and Ettmecke. The neighboring peak Kleine Bamicke (661.3 m), which already leads into the Rüsper Rothaar, is just under 1 km west-southwest on the other side of the stream of the same name, and the Grosser Kopf is about 2.4 km east-southeast.Very beautiful hiking trails and nature.
