"The Snake Path is part of the Rhine Castle Trail and leads from the Reiterstellwerk (equestrian signal box) at the entrance to Bingen-Bingerbrück on the B9 motorway to the level of the youth hostel, from where the path continues towards the Binger Forest and Rheinstein Castle.
The name "Snake Path" comes from the winding route, which is necessary to overcome the steep incline on this stretch of the trail..."
