The Rothsee is a 2.7 ha natural lake and lies about 2.5 km northeast of Eberfing. The lake is easily accessible on foot or by bicycle and in summer a popular bathing lake. In its immediate vicinity is the hamlet of Gut Rothsee with the 1780 built Catholic chapel.
