War cemetery with 160 dead - according to the grave list
In the last months of the Second World War, around 160 wounded soldiers died in this hospital. Most of the graves of those buried in the "Brunnenfriedhof" on the hospital grounds are no longer visible.
The completely redesigned cemetery was opened to the public on Remembrance Day 2005.
The 156 deceased soldiers and the German Red Cross nurse are commemorated on 12 steles.
There may be further graves of war victims in the immediately adjacent community cemetery.
During the world wars, this hospital complex also served as a hospital.
