Darß West Beach

A touch of wildness and romance blows on the western beach of the Darß. He was voted one of the 20 most beautiful beaches in the world by the television station arte. The approx. 13 km long west beach of the Baltic Sea peninsula Darß offers special unspoiled charms. A walk is something special here in every season. After storms you can find ambers with good eyes. Away from street noise, only accessible on foot or by bike, you will find untouched nature, where wind and waves can still work and shape with their power. Trees uprooted by storms Darßwald lie across the beach and are processed only by the forces of nature. The ocean current takes away land here and deposits the sand at the north located Darßer place, which slowly grows further north.
