The Panorex cinema in Nová Dubnica is a local cinema that is one of the popular cultural institutions in the region. The cinema offers a wide range of film screenings, including the latest premieres, family films, European cinematography and often also special screenings or theme nights. In addition to regular films, it also organizes various cultural events, festivals or film screenings for schools and organized groups.
The cinema was put into operation in 1969 and was then only the second panoramic cinema in Slovakia.
The cinema underwent extensive reconstruction in 2020-2022. The renovated premises were opened on September 23, 2022 under the name Panorex Cultural Center.
