Trenčín Castle is a relatively large renovated castle, rising on a steep limestone cliff directly above the town of Trenčín. It is a characteristic landmark not only of Trenčín, but also of the whole of Central Považie. It is a national cultural monument. Since the end of the 1950s, the castle has undergone a comprehensive restoration and conservation of its fortifications. Restored objects are gradually being used for museum purposes and for exhibitions.

It is a magnificent castle that is the pride of the entire central Považia.
