Nobody really knows why Stöckentobelbach is also called Elefantenbach. Apparently, elephants were always found to be cool, so there's a lot in Witikon: The elephant is a kind of unofficial heraldic animal of the Zurich district. And that's exactly why an elephant stands around in the middle of the stream - one made of concrete, of course, not a real one.
