So - we can all agree the historical nature of gaining wealth is a lot more than "questionable"!!
In no way do I agree with the ways in which the wealth to create these walks was obtained.
However - it IS history, it is in the past, and it's worth a read.
The woodland is such a stunning area now, it's hard to believe it is a product of "landscaping" 300 years ago.

Great Views and a bench at the bottoms of the steps but the path is closed so you will need to go back up the steps and take the detour to follow the River Wye Valley Path
