In Asti along Almshouses 🙏 and Palazzi.

On the way to our travel destination we made a stopover in Asti.
Upon arrival, the towers of the hometown of Paolo Conte (Italian singer) - Asti trigger every visitor.

Practical: Are you by car? Use the large 'FREE' parking "Parcheggio Camp del Palio". This car park is located a stone's throw from the historic center and the Tourist Office - Piazza Alfieri.

For our discovery of the medieval city, we ask the lady at the tourist office. We are inspired by stories of spiritual power and wealth. Enough imagination to spend a whole day wandering through the city center past the many sacred houses and lavish city palaces. The towers are beacons in the old city where you can relax in the shade. And is the crowds becoming a bit too much? Without blushing, we opted for a short introduction to the old city walls. Certainly no complaints here, only that refreshing pint of beer was missing. Back to the central axis, looking for that ice cream I had been craving all day.
