The new bridge is no longer passable for heavy equipment. Now the heavy clocks have to make a detour via more stable bridges.

Nature is absolutely beautiful here. Only the cyclists are annoying. You have a bell, so use it and we'll make room. To everyone who took this to heart, a friendly thank you ... Note: highly recommended ...

The Seeve
The Seeve rises between Handeloh and Undeloh and flows into the Elbe after meandering 40 km through the Geest.
At Jesteburg you can follow the course of the Seeve a little and get a good insight into the Heidebach habitat from small bridges. If you're lucky, you might even hear the kingfisher's call or catch a glimpse of its exotic blue plumage as it flies low over the water.
Clear, cool and oxygen-rich water is essential for fish species such as grayling, brown and sea trout.
And the Seeve is cool: with an average temperature of 6 - 8°C, it is considered to be northern Germany's coldest river. The Seeve, with its meandering course, the alternation of sliding and impact slopes and a sandy-gravelly, partly coarse-stony water bottom as well as the shading by bank vegetation, is a typical, near-natural, summer-cold Geestbach.
