At 64 meters, Finkhütten-Berg is the highest point in Buchwedel. The Finkhüttenberg was described in a travel guide from 1916 (over 100 years ago). There it says: "On the right, a footpath leads through a grove to Finkhüttenberg (64), which offers an excellent view, especially of the beautiful Buchwedel forest." Since you struggle on the ascent and then you do not even expect a proper summit cross, but only an ordinary measuring stone. After all: we were there! 💪
