At 1,455 meters, the Großer Arber is the highest mountain in the Bavarian Forest. From its summit you can see the Alps in good conditions. But of course you have to earn such a view first. Many paths lead to the summit and back down. From the gravel road to the challenging singletrack everything is there. The Arberschutzhaus offers everything for your physical well-being. Also overnight stays are possible.

Easily accessible by e-bike, just below the summit, it is technically difficult due to coarse gravel.

From Lam, a long ascent that had in itself with the E bike. Unfortunately, the weather was not with us, so the view was not quite as good.

The Großer Arber is 1455.5 m the highest mountain of the Bavarian Forest and Lower Bavaria. On the summit region are two Luftwaffe buildings with radomes. The last few meters on the bike path are steep, but the way up is definitely worth it, a wonderful view. In clear weather up to the Alps.
