The old tradition, the only one in Central Europe that is still practiced here: rafting. It is possible in this steep location of the forest. Logging takes place here every four to five years. The slope of the rafting forest has gradients of up to 70 degrees, which makes the work here so dangerous. Wood is transported to the lake by gravity. The small streams are used as natural, gravity-driven "transport routes".
