The Hans Thoma Artists' Trail is a circular trail with a length of around 5 km and starts at the car park at the Loipenzentrum/Magic Forest in Bernau-Oberlehen. Along the theme trail you will find 8 art stations, a panoramic picture of Bernau around 1915, and two stations in Bernau-Oberlehen, namely at the birthplace with a memorial stone and at the former watchmaker's house. The latter was Hans Thoma's home from 1845 to 1866. The watchmaker's house unfortunately burned down in 1930 and was not rebuilt.
