Road cycling

The high valley at Menzenschwand is an absolutely idyllic spot, definitely to consider when touring in the area. The ascent over the Äulemer Höhe is also nice from the Schluchsee, but the Menzenschwander side is great. In the lower section you can also first drive through the village (turn off before the road climbs the valley side) and then reach the highway again at the height of the first serpentine.
