If you leave the car at the entrance and take the first path in the direction of the hill, you can reach this beautiful view over Fretterode in about twenty minutes, left to Gerbershausen, right up in the distance Fürstenhagen and a little closer to Wüstheuterode. At the moment (spring 2019) the way back is still a bit difficult because storms have killed some of the tall trees. The paths are walkable, prams or the like can not be recommended. At the lookout point is an older bank, right next to it the path on overgrown rocks back to the original path, which now leads downhill into a meadow. After another moderate climb, turn right onto the open area and walk back under the small forest. The whole round is no longer than an hour and is also suitable for children.
