The palace was built in 1861 for Julius von Bassewitz, the then owner of the village. In 1889, it was bought by Karl Wilhelm Emil Rudolph Treichel from nearby Stanowice. It remained in the hands of the Treichel family almost until the beginning of World War II. The last owner of the palace died suddenly in 1937 as a result of complications following an operation to remove the appendix, and his wife committed suicide the following day out of despair.
