The Marienkapelle, beautifully situated on the Bösinger Herrenbühl, was inaugurated on August 19, 1987 by Auxiliary Bishop Anton Herren and the then local pastor Lorenz Vecsey and at the same time elevated to the status of a pilgrimage church. What was still missing from the pilgrimage church at that time, however, was the organ. Günter Laubmann, vice principal of the Dunninger School, took pity on the organ and looked for organs that had already done their job. The organ of the Evangelical Church in Schönbronn, which was dismantled in 1972 and built in 1859 by organ builder Braun from Spaichingen, served as the basis. The pipework was supplemented with dismantled organs from Villingendorf, Rottweil and Alpirsbach-Peterzell. Tower, altar, windows and figures come from the Wendelinus Church in Bösingen, which was built in 1817 and demolished in 1982.
