On the corner of Haaipanderstraat and Merelstraat there is a striking iron cross, with the inscription "Mijn Jezus Bermhertegheid" erected between two red beech trees, with a Marian chapel from 1988 to the left of it. In between the two, a second - much more recent - wooden cross with the inscription "Christ is the way" and to the right of the iron cross a second small chapel, also dedicated to Our Lady.
