In the middle of the temple complex there is an impressive staircase with over 200 steps, which is framed on the sides by huge snakes (nagas).
The staircase leads to a small plateau, on which there is only a small prayer hall. Compared to the massive and impressive staircase construction, it is rather simple and therefore somewhat disappointing... but perhaps with great religious value?!
