Tullisaari Manor Park area is a wonderful outdoor park and area in Laajasalo. The history of the area dates back to the 16th century, when it was acquired as a wage farm by Porvoo burgher Per Jönsson Kustaa from Vaasa. In the 1830s, tobacco manufacturer and art supporter Henrik Borgström lived in a villa with his family and brought many of the cream of the art life as guests.
Borgström founded a park on the island and noble deciduous trees and groups of bushes were planted there, which gave it a green character. Romantic vantage points and winding corridors were built in the area, taking into account the place's own landscape and nature.

The total area of the park is up to 46 ha, of which the landscape garden accounts for about half. The site plan of the park area was confirmed in 1999 and in it the area is marked as a culturally historical, horticulturally and scenically valuable protected park area and partially as a local recreation area. Tullisaari is a nationally significant cultural and historical environment.

The park is also home to the culturally historically valuable and spectacular Aino Ackté villa, which was originally a surviving villa built by Borgström for one of his children.

Many pioneers of Finnish cultural life, such as Eino Leino, Oskar Merikanto, Jean Sibelius and Albert Edelfelt, have spent time in the villa while the world-famous soprano Aino Ackté hosted it at the beginning of the 20th century.
