On one side, this bridge provides a nice view over Vanhakaupunki - the place where Swedish King Gustav Vaasa founded this old town on the banks of the Vantaa river. Turning around the visitors can see the shores of Arabianranta towards the Kalasatama area with its new tall buildings. The bridge also conveniently allows to continue towards the nature reserve areas around Viikki. Parking areas nearby make it a perfect spot to start/end your trips.
