Hiking
The Elbe bridge Vockerode spans east of Dessau at Vockerode the Elbe and the diked foreland. The 654 m long girder bridge was first erected between 1937 and 1938 as part of the Reichsautobahn Berlin-Leipzig. As part of the expansion of the A 9, the old bridge was replaced in the years 1996 to 2000 by a new building.
