Before the A9 was renovated in the 1990s, daring people only had the opportunity to get to the other side of the trough on the median of the A9. There was also a small tunnel on both sides of the bank up to the center of the lane and a stone staircase on the median of the A9. A path that is only about 1 m wide and limited by a knee-high railing separated the daring user from the frenzied traffic on the fast lanes ... Unthinkable today, for us back then as children the shortest way from Dessau-Süd to the bathing establishment blue Adriatic.
