The little ferry Weiß-Zündorf is simply a big movie theater! There, this little boat crunches day in and day out over the Rhine at a speed that my grandma can still easily manage in the backstroke against the current. Then you sit on this same little boat, blinking in the sun and can not understand how great that is.

Since the ride takes only a few minutes, you have to come up with something around it. The best way to do a bike ride out of it. Just from any Veedel close to the city on the right bank of the Rhine, always head south and when you arrive in Zündorf, first drink a coffee on the picturesque spot. Then by ferry and through the grove in white and the Rodenkirchen beach back towards the city. Voila - a perfect spring trip!

A white institution is the small ferry of ferryman Heiko Dietrich (crocodile, Krokolino) in the right bank district Cologne-Zündorf. The small ferry leads to the excursion destination Zündorfer Groov .. This crossing of the Rhine use in good weather many hikers and cyclists for their trips. The ferry season starts in March and lasts until autumn. In the summer season, the ferry leaves every few minutes, in spring and autumn rarely, sometimes only on weekends.
