The Märchengrund is located at the Karlsquelle at the end of an idyllic, almost one kilometer long meadow valley that flows into the wide Espoldetal valley opposite the Hardegsen wildlife park. The Hardegsen local history association has set up carved wooden figures from well-known fairy tales at the Karlsquelle. Hikers can take a break here, enjoy the peace and quiet and listen to the spring babbling.
