Great observation tower above the Münchhausen town of Bodenwerder. The climb is worth it! If you want to have a view of the Weser, the Bismarck Tower is recommended. It can only be seen a little from the pinnacle.

The Königszinne (King's Peak) is located on the edge of a very steep Weser escarpment (255 m above sea level) and was built in 1863 in honor of King George V, the last King of Hanover. It was ceremoniously inaugurated on October 18, 1863, during the celebrations commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Leipzig.

From the Königszinne, there is a fantastic view over Bodenwerder, the Ottenstein Plateau, and the surrounding hills.
