With a height of 30 m, it is not the highest sand dunes in Death Valley (these are the Eureka Dunes, which can only be reached with four-wheel drive), but the ones that are easily accessible. The best times to visit are shortly before sunrise and around sunset, because then you can enjoy an incredible play of light and colors.
