Hiking

The approximately 40-hectare Gartenwiese nature reserve has existed since 1990. It is part of the "Selztal" nature reserve and encompasses an area of the Selz lowland with a near-natural stream, relict alluvial forest, and other woody stands. These include pollarded trees, still waters, reed beds, and wet fallow land, as well as predominantly sub-moist and occasionally flooded grassland and arable land. This is a good place to take a closer look.
