On the way up from Kolfuschg to the Gardena Pass, there are magnificent views of the mighty towers of the Sella group. Apart from a short stretch from Kolfuschg up to the middle station of the Plans Frara cable car, I did not find any path up that was suitable for mountain biking. The Frara Downhill Trail is not rideable up there. The pass road has a moderate gradient and many spectacular views of the Sella peaks. Once you have reached the Gardena Pass, you can stop and contemplate the distant view of the Sella Pass at the little church of San Mauriz, where the wonderful MTB tour with the series of passes began.
