A beautiful hiking trail connects the mountain station of the Gran Paradiso chairlift with the Sella Pass Hotel. This hiking trail runs through the countless large and small boulders that came down from the Sasso Lungo as a result of a gigantic landslide. A wonderful hike through this unique landscape. Here, directly below the towering Sasso Lungo and Grohmann Tower, there is a spectacular backdrop. The view goes east to the mighty walls and pillars of the Sella Group and to the south the glacier fields of the Marmolada shine, which are not far from here.
