Capo Pecora is recognised by the SIC (Site of Community Importance) and is located on the extreme south side of Cape Verde. The beach is characterised by its light, coarse sand and its steep cliffs that slope into the sea. The beach is rarely visited, except perhaps in the summer months. It is a great place to relax in unspoilt nature. The clear water, the golden cliffs and the Mediterranean flora are unforgettable.

Hiking

The beach has a large car park suitable for campers. It can be reached via the provincial road 105, heading north until the end. The road is signposted. A pleasant peculiarity: over time, wind and water have formed certain shapes in the rocks, which is why one of the bays is called the Uova di Dinosauro (dinosaur eggs) beach.
