A little history is always part of it. here Lindenau was separated from Bavaria. Lindenau as a former border village "former East" is in the last Ziepfel of Thuringia, Autenhausen and Merlach are two border villages in Bavaria "former West". Running the entire Grenzweg in Unterland takes days for sure. In Lindenau, the not-too-known Bitterwasser was mined in eastern times and even shipped to the USA. The Bitterwasserquelle is still there, unfortunately, you can forfeit everything. A pity because the bitter water was and is the "old Lindenauern" a natural remedy for everything. This is my home I could not continue as a child to the 500m strip, we can not really imagine. Reminder 😘
