The "Heinrichshöhe" is dedicated to an important Gelnhauser: Johann Heinrich Cassebeer (1784-1850) was a botanist, geologist, agricultural and viticulture specialist, natural scientist, mayor and pharmacist in Gelnhausen. He had chestnuts planted at this point, which are now protected as monuments. In 1914, the Frankfurt entrepreneur Johannes Höhner (1862-1945) had a lookout tower built here, of which only the foundations remain today.

Today, the Heinrichshöhe is more or less just a cartographic highlight. The lines of sight are overgrown. Only the foundations of the former observation tower can be seen. In addition, some remains of walls and stairs from the former surrounding open spaces.
