Every day the Molli drives through the main shopping street of Bad Doberan, past the oldest racecourse on the European continent and on to the Heiligendamm train station with a happy jingle. Here the train conductor still controls the points by hand and cranks down the barrier booms when the train approaches. At the terminal station in Kühlungsborn West, the Molli Museum invites you to take a trip into railway history. The entrance is in the adjoining museum café, which is open daily. Entry to the museum is free. However, donations are requested to maintain it

Heiligendamm has had a train station since 1886. As the number of visitors increased, a larger reception building with a waiting room was built in 1934.
Heiligendamm station is the crossing station in the summer months, because this is where the Molli always meets its oncoming train, since the route between Bad Doberan and Kühlungsborn is single track. While enthusiastic railroad fans can't miss the entrance of the oncoming train, walkers can take a look at the 'White City by the Sea'.
