The giant Haunold left his tools here. A huge hammer and, in comparison, the tiny model of the Innichen Abbey Church.Unlike most other giant Haunold stations, this one is closely linked to the legend. According to this, he helped build the Abbey Church in Innichen by dragging the blocks of stone with his superhuman strength.The story about his end varies: did he retreat into the mountain here after the population no longer wanted to feed him after the church was built and only stored his tools here.Or was he murdered using a pit trap so that he no longer had to be provided with food? In that case, the bone in the Innichen Abbey Church would be one of his ribs. According to the other version, it comes from the Hun prince whom Haunold defeated.Let your imagination run wild...
