Here the historic Long Causeway crosses the High Neb track, descending eastwards towards Green's House and Hathersage and connecting with Stanage Pole to the west.
By contrast, the track that stays on the upper edge along the ridge connects you with the top of a collection of classic gritstone climbs on High Neb Buttress.
