From the cemetery there is a wonderful panoramic view of the Untersee
The late Gothic hall church, dedicated to John the Baptist and St. Vitus, partly with Romanesque masonry, was rebuilt in 1717 under the Constance Bishop Johann Franz von Stauffenberg. It contains rich baroque furnishings, several noteworthy tombs and two valuable altar wings created around 1500 by the painter Matthäus Gutrecht the Elder from Constance. The church belonged to the large court of the Bishop of Constance. In 1806 the right of patronage passed to the Grand Duke. The Horn Church is a popular destination today, as its elevated position offers a view over the Untersee to the island of Reichenau and Konstanz. Hans Leip, who achieved world fame with the song "Lilli Marleen", is buried somewhat hidden on the north-western edge of the cemetery.
