From there you walk briefly along a road and then continue between the trees to the valley or forest.
For me, this short (and sometimes windy) path is a great way to get in the mood for the subsequent hike. The path is a beautiful contrast to what follows. Fields to the left and right, a country road far away - completely different from down in the valley.
