Beautiful village between Lunigiana and Garfagnana, where it seems that time has stopped. Founded in Rome, the village belonged to the Malaspina family of Fosdinovo for a long time, before passing under the jurisdiction of Fivizzano. The oldest part of the village is characterized by the gray color of the local stone with which the houses were built, many of which have recently been restored while maintaining their construction features. At the end of the historic center, going down towards the valley, you come across a pedestrian bridge suspended over the Tassonaro stream that allows you to cross it to take a beautiful path that crosses the forests that cover the slopes of Mount Cavoli.
