The island of Eichert is located in the northern part of the Rursee and is completely forested. It can only be reached by swimming or by boat. To the south of it is a headland on the Tonsberg, where the remains of a Celtic cult site can be found. To the west of the Eichert is the Eschauel peninsula, which also has a bathing beach.
