The former station of the Gniezno Narrow Gauge Railway, opened in 1884 in connection with the construction of a railway line by the Leon, Grabski, Adolf Jeschek Sugar Factory and the company in Gniezno (section from Gniezno to Odrowąż).

The station housed the stationmaster's office, a ticket office and a goods office. A two-station, wooden locomotive shed without inspection pits was also built here, but contrary to the purpose resulting from the name of the building, wagons were repaired there (there was also a road section workshop there). In 1926, the building was dismantled and a brick locomotive shed was built. At the branching of the line to Witkowo and Arcugowo there was a triangle for turning steam locomotives, and in addition, sidings to the distillery and GS Niechanowo branched off from the station in Niechanowo.
