There is a lot to discover in the Renggloch Gorge: the Himmelsleiter, which rises between vertical cliffs and is one of 25 stations on the Lucerne Climate Path, is particularly impressive. The rushing Renggbach with its waterfalls makes a hike through the gorge an experience.

The spectacular Ränggloch is no ordinary gorge, but a so-called "slit gorge". With a depth of 40 m, the narrow cut in the hard sandstone rock is 7 m wide at the top and just 1.8 m wide at the bottom. In the south, the slot in the rock is closed off by a vertical steep step with a 16 m high waterfall.
