The current town hall at Łączności Street 1 - the seat of the city authorities - is almost a hundred years old, built in 1910-1912. Before the war, it housed the Heinrich von Plauen Male Reformed Real Gymnasium. Once a historic building, it was surrounded by a beautiful garden, and its remains can still be seen today. A statue of the dying Achilles stands in front of the building.

Since the post-war period, the building has served as the seat of the city administration and shapes the cityscape with its historical architecture.
In front of the Town Hall stands the marble sculpture "Dying Achilles" from 1886, an interesting detail for a short photo stop.
A worthwhile detour from the old town, especially for those interested in architecture and history.
