This is the northernmost occurrence of the wild boxwood. Unfortunately, even the candidates in the wild are not safe from the boxwood igniters, which leave their destructive traces.
The constant ups and downs of this hike will also leave their mark. I can already imagine the sore muscles that will almost certainly make themselves known tomorrow morning..."
